Dan has over 30 years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist working with children adolescents and adults, families and couples in outpatient therapy. He founded Empowering Families Program 30 years ago, and over the years the agency has been successful helping many at risk youth and SMI adults. His experience ranges from an Individual Psychology Practice, Founding a Character Education non-profit organization, to working in Psychiatric Hospitals, Community Mental Health Clinics, Public Schools Teaching in Elementary Schools, Alternative Education and Community College. His Doctoral Thesis was on a Functional Approach to Character Education – part of the seed from which the FACE Project grew. He runs a full clinical practice and his passion is developing Character Education.
Dan enjoys family and friends, skiing, scuba diving, reading, traveling, movies and good food.
