About Me

Kamisha Spencer is a dedicated human services professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting youth, families, and communities through community-based programming, advocacy, and leadership. She currently serves as a Program Supervisor with Community Attention/Community-Based Services in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she oversees programs focused on juvenile justice-involved youth, trauma-informed care, family support, and community engagement.

Throughout her career, Kamisha has demonstrated a strong commitment to equity, resilience, and evidence-based practices. She has extensive experience in program development, staff supervision, crisis intervention, and collaborative partnerships with schools, courts, and community organizations.

Kamisha earned her Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Liberty University with a concentration in Education and Behavioral Science. She continues to expand her leadership and facilitation skills through advanced training in racial trauma, restorative practices, and municipal leadership.
