Martin “Marty” Price is a retired educator/administrator with 41 years of experience in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He was recognized as SBD Fellow by Johns Hopkins University and helped develop the district’s academic intervention programs for at-risk youth for its award-winning Beyond the Bell Program. As principal at Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies the school earned state and national recognition as a Gold Ribbon School and a Magnet Schools of America School of Distinction. Marty served as the training chair for the Western Los Angeles County Council of the Boy Scouts of America for more than a decade and continues to serves a trainer and mentor with the Scouting program.
